Founded in Mombasa in 2012, Jubilant PLC provides practical financial and non-financial solutions that help individuals, entrepreneurs and communities build wealth and advance their livelihoods.
Through Jubilant Microfinance Plus, we combine responsible financing with financial literacy, business support and other empowerment tools, creating solutions that go beyond lending.
OUR STORY
Jubilant PLC was founded in Mombasa on 11 May 2012 with the conviction that microfinance should serve people and communities often overlooked by conventional financial institutions.
Since then, Jubilant has supported more than 20,000 members across Kenya’s Coast and Eastern regions, with a strong focus on rural communities, entrepreneurs and livelihood-based enterprises.
In 2026, Jubilant entered a new chapter with Jubilant Microfinance Plus, an approach that combines responsible financing with practical tools and support designed to create lasting economic progress.

Jubilant is guided by a five-member Board whose experience spans microfinance, banking, insurance, taxation, risk management, faith-based leadership and community development.

Founder of Jubilant PLC with more than 16 years of experience in microfinance and financial services, including roles at Faulu Kenya, Barclays and Standard Chartered Bank.
Chairman
An insurance and marketing professional with more than 20 years of industry experience, including leadership roles at Takaful Insurance Africa and CIC Insurance.
Vice Chairperson
A retired Kenya Revenue Authority Assistant Commissioner with more than 30 years of experience in taxation, financial governance and risk management.
Non-Executive Director
Senior Pastor at JCC Mombasa, former Standard Chartered banker and an experienced faith-based and community leader overseeing JCC churches globally.
Non-Executive Director
An ordained minister and experienced community leader with two decades in ministry, organizational administration, strategy and network development.
